2014 Short-Term Mission Service

Malaysia Short-Term Mission 2014 (26 July – 5 August)

Recruitment: Group Leaders, Companions, and Volunteers

We thank God for His provision and arrangement. Led personally by Dr. Katherine Kot, the Rapha Foundation will depart from 26 July to 5 August 2014 for Malaysia to provide training for local Chinese brothers and sisters. We are urgently seeking the participation of group leaders, companions, and volunteers.

You are warmly invited to join this ministry opportunity. Participants will have the chance to share with local friends what they have previously learned and experienced in class, while also putting classroom learning into practice—bringing God’s love and acceptance to others, so that they may experience emotional healing and growth in life.

As air tickets are in high demand during the summer holiday period, early arrangements are necessary. Those who feel called to participate are requested to submit the “Malaysia Volunteer Recruitment Application Form and Liability Waiver 2014” by Wednesday, 4 June. Registration will only be confirmed upon payment of the registration fee so that flight arrangements can be made promptly. Since airfare prices may increase significantly, the fees listed below may not fully cover the costs required to support this ministry.

After submitting the completed application form, participants will receive a donation form. We encourage everyone to share with friends, relatives, and fellow believers the purpose and calling behind joining this short-term mission trip, and to invite support through prayer or financial giving.

July 2013

Malaysia Christian and Missionary Alliance Puchong Church

During last August’s mission trip to Malaysia, we witnessed the great needs among the local people. Many were struggling with emotional distress, carrying deep wounds and pain, and even experiencing significant barriers in their relationship with God. They were in need of the healing and renewed life that comes through the Lord Jesus Christ.

In view of this need, the Foundation has scheduled another joint programme with Malaysia Christian and Missionary Alliance Puchong Church to conduct the Level 1 and Level 3A2 courses in July. The team will travel to Malaysia from 25–28 July 2013 (Thursday to Sunday). We sincerely invite you to join us as a companion on this Malaysia short-term mission trip, accompanying hearts burdened by sorrow and pain as they journey out of darkness, and sharing with Malaysian friends the blessings of God’s touch and healing in your own life.

As air tickets are in high demand during the summer holiday period, interested participants are requested to submit the volunteer application form before 20 May so that flight arrangements can be made as early as possible.

Upon receiving your application, the Foundation will issue a donation form. Volunteers are encouraged to learn the lesson of faith by sharing with relatives, friends, and fellow believers the purpose and calling behind joining this short-term mission trip, inviting them to support the journey through prayer and financial giving. (Donation forms should be submitted by 8 July.)
